About Our Signature Firekitty Oil
Genesis 1:29 ~ And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food.”
Exodus 30:22-25 ~ Moreover, the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,“Take also for yourself the finest of spices: of flowing myrrh five hundred shekels, and of fragrant cinnamon half as much, two hundred and fifty, and of fragrant cane two hundred and fifty, and of cassia five hundred, according to the shekel of the sanctuary, and of olive oil a hint. You shall make of these a holy anointing oil, a perfume mixture, the work of a perfumer; it shall be a holy anointing oil.”
In 1997, Robin Swan, chief alchemist for Firebird Touch Therapy, was compelled to create a massage oil that would address the needs of her clients suffering from chronic pain, because there was nothing else available that would suffice. Like so many times before, Robin looked to her maternal grandmother’s recipe book. What she found was a recipe for what her Nana called “Bhang Holy Oil.” Robin had never heard of the herb “bhang” so she asked her mother what it was. Her mother did not know either and her grandmother had already passed. All the other ingredients Robin was familiar with, with the exception of “Bhang.”
Finally after much questioning and searching, Robin’s Auntie Arpanok told her that bhang was the Persian word for Cannabis. She also shared that it was the sacred holy anointing oil of the Sumerians and that the recipe had repeated itself throughout time, including the anointing oil Jesus used to wash the feet of his disciples.
Robin’s auntie reminded her of all the times her Nana had used the oil on her. Nevart, her nana, used Bhange Oil to treat everyone; healing infant to elder. The special combination of herbs and steeping time, made Nevart’s Bhang Oil very powerful. Auntie Arpanok said to Robin, “Something that has worked for 9 thousand years does not need to be reconstructed to work better.”To honor an old world tradition, Firebird Touch Therapy has continued to make Firekitty in the same way Robin’s Nana did. Small batches, quality ingredients and a whole lot of BHANG!

Benefits of Frankincense
Frankincense oil has a woody, earthy, spicy, and slightly fruity aroma, which is calming and relaxing. Frankincense oil promotes healthy cell regeneration and keeps existing cells and tissues healthy. It’s useful for skin health, and can help treat dry skin, reverse signs of aging, and reduce the appearance of stretch marks and scars. Used topically, frankincense oil’s astringent properties help strengthen gums and hair roots, stop wounds from bleeding, speed up the healing of cuts, acne, insect bites, and boils.
Benefits of Myrrh
Both myrrh resin and myrrh oil have a long history of medicinal use, and are valued for their wound-healing properties. Egyptians used myrrh to treat hay fever and heal herpes. Myrrh oil has also been used as incense and a holy oil in religious rituals and ceremonies for over 5,000 years. Maintaining healthy skin is one of myrrh oil’s renowned uses, as it prevents the signs of aging and soothes cracked or chapped skin. This is why it’s commonly added to many skin care products today.
Myrrh oil is also used for adding fragrance for perfumes, embalming, flavoring food products. Myrrh oil is also a valuable aromatherapy oil that can be used for massages, mixed in bathwater, or simply applied on the skin. You can also: Use it as a mouthwash to help eliminate dental infections, put it in a cold compress to relieve sores and wounds. Add it to creams and lotions to help relieve skin infections, such as athlete’s foot, ringworm, weeping eczema, bedsores, boils, carbuncles, and acne.
Benefits of Rosemary
Rosemary oil has analgesic, antibacterial, anticancer, anticatarrhal, anti-fungal, anti-infectious, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and expectorant properties.

Both rosemary oil and teas are added to shampoos and lotions. Regularly using the oil helps stimulate follicles, aiding in long, strong hair growth. You can also massage your scalp with the oil to nourish it and remove dandruff.
Benefits of Calendula (Marigold)
Health and wellness: It has tonic, sudorific, emmenagogue, and anti-spasmodic properties, but it is mainly used for skin care and treatment. It has great anti-inflammatory and vulnerary action, making it helpful with stubborn wounds, acne, ulcers, bedsores, varicose veins, rashes, eczema, and related conditions. It also addresses sore, inflamed, and itchy skin conditions. Calendula massage oil also greatly heals, soothes, and softens skin, making it a good addition to massage oils or when preparing a carrier oil blend.
Cooking: Since the Middle Ages, the petals of marigold have been used as “the poor man’s saffron” for coloring cheeses, butters, and dishes. During the Elizabethan era, both petals and leaves were used in salads. The petals flavored soups and stews. Practical uses – Marigold has been used as a dye. Dried petals can also be added to potpourris.
Benefits of Cinnamon
Cinnamon is known to enhance your antioxidant defenses, and it’s been found to kill e.coli and many other bacteria. Its anti-inflammatory compounds help relieve pain and stiffness of muscles and joints due to arthritis. It also helps prevent urinary tract infections, tooth decay, and gum disease, and helps with blood sugar control.
Calm Inflammation: Cinnamon is an anti-inflammatory, in part due to its cinnamaldehyde content. According to research published in the journal Molecular Biology, chronic inflammation plays a major role in the development of various neurodegenerative diseases, including Lyme disease, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, brain tumors, and Meningitis.
Support Weight Loss: Cinnamon reduces blood glucose concentration and enhances insulin sensitivity. In obese and healthy-weight individuals, cinnamon is also effective in moderating postprandial glucose response (or the amount of sugar in your blood after a meal). By helping to regulate blood sugar spikes, cinnamon may have a favorable impact on hunger and preventing weight gain. This is a great alternative for those who are sensitive to the concentrate oil. Great for all muscle and nerve issues.
Firebird’s Baby Blend CBD Oil Concentrate
Unlike industry hemp CBD oil, our high CBD oil concentrate is made from an organic outdoor whole plant extraction. We use 190 proof organic cane alcohol. Our CBD oil tests at 63% CBD and 5%THC. CBD oil can be used in conjunction with THC concentrates to lower the psychotropic effect of THC.
CBD oil has been found to alleviate many neurological and inflammatory conditions. CBD is an antibacterial, neuroprotectant, inhibits cancer cell growth, promotes bone growth, reduces seizures and convulsions, reduces blood sugar levels, increases function of the immune system, reduces inflammation, reduces risk of artery blockage, reduces small intestinal contractions, reduces vomiting and nausea, relieves pain, relieves anxiety, slows bacterial growth, suppresses muscle spasms, treats psoriasis.
Cannabidiol, CBD, is a cannabis compound that has significant medical benefits, but does not make people feel “stoned” and can actually counteract the psychoactivity of THC. The fact that CBD-rich cannabis is non-psychoactive or less psychoactive than THC-dominant strains makes it an appealing option for patients looking for relief from inflammation, pain, anxiety, psychosis, seizures, spasms, and other conditions without disconcerting feelings of lethargy or dysphoria.
CBD works naturally with our endocannabinoid system, discovered in the 1990’s. The endocannabinoid system is a regulator of many bodily functions. There are receptor sites throughout our bodies for cannabinoids. Sometimes our body does not produce a sufficient amounts of cannabinoids on its own. There is only one plant that provides CBD our body can use- the cannabis plant. Using CBD concentrates can give your body’s endocannabinoid system a boost, thus enhancing your immune system and helping with various other conditions such as;
